Communication was excellent and the wine was delivered right on time, within just a day or two in Portugal.
The bottle arrived fully protected and in perfect condition, and they even chose a nicer box than the one I asked for, which was a lovely surprise.

Alves de Sousa Abandonado Magnum Tinto

Castas: Vinhas Velhas, Tinta Amarela Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Sousão, outras (20 castas autóctones).
Estágio: 16 meses em barricas novas de carvalho francês.
Cor: Ruby profunda.
Aroma: Grande complexidade e frescura aromática, com invulgares notas balsâmicas e de alcatrão, alcaçuz e frutos pretos, típicas da vinha do Abandonado.
Sabor: Boca plena de harmonia, com intensidade mas também delicadeza, mineralidade e uma extraordinária pureza da fruta. Sente-se o xisto dos solos, a floresta circundante, a frescura da altitude, numa pura expressão da natureza da vinha.

Servir: 16⁰ a 18⁰
Consumo: Guarda (15 a 20 anos) .

Harmonização: Pratos de carne vermelha grelhada ou no forno.
