What type of carrier is used for deliveries?

We work with specialised wine carriers for all our orders, including DHL, MRW, UPS or FEDEX.

Is shopping at Garrafeira Tourinto safe?

Yes, Garrafeira Tourinto has chosen EasyPay and PayPal (outside Portugal) as alternative payment methods to ensure that customers feel protected when making a purchase. However, it is still possible to make payments by bank transfer or MBWAY, the latter only being valid for customers with a bank account in Portugal.

In which countries do you deliver to?

We currently send orders to the continental area of the following countries: Portugal, Germany, Angola, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, South Korea, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Macau, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Switzerland and Sweden.

Do you deliver to the Islands and Autonomous Regions?

You can place your order for Madeira and the Azores directly at our Garrafeira. However, for other islands you should contact Garrafeira Tourinto before placing your order to check its feasibility and costs.

How long does the delivery of the order take?

The order will normally be delivered within 48 to 72 hours (2 to 3 working days) for mainland Portugal and mainland Spain, 3 to 5 working days for the rest of the European Union countries (see point 3.11), 3 to 6 working days for Switzerland and Norway, 5 to 10 working days for the United Kingdom, Angola, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and Macau and 20 to 30 working days for the United States of America and Canadá.

Atention: From June to September, orders received on Thursdays will only be dispatched on the following Monday in order to safeguard product quality.

How much does delivery cost?

The cost of delivery varies depending on the country of destination and the value of the order, and is calculated at the time of purchase before payment is made.

Note: When ordering outside of Portugal, we advise you to consider placing orders between 6 and 24 bottles, in order to reduce the cost of shipping per unit.

From what amount are delivery costs included?

For purchases over €75 for mainland Portugal* and over €150 for mainland Spain*, postage is included. However, for all other countries there is no order value above which postage is included.

How do shipments outside the European Union work?

Shipments to these countries are subject to taxes and customs duties in the country of destination (except United States of America All Inclusive Door to Door), the payment of which is the responsibility of the customer or recipient.

European countries that are not part of the European Union are subject to additional fees, taxes and costs arising from the legislation that each country imposes on orders coming from Portugal.

To dilute the associated costs, you should consider ordering between 12 and 24 bottles.

We suggest you read the Terms and Conditions of sale before placing your order for countries outside the European Union.

How does shipping to the United States work?

Garrafeira Tourinto, through its parcel shipping partner, provides a shipping service All Inclusive – Door to Door to the United States of Americawhere the customer will receive the parcel directly at home and will not be charged extra customs fees in the country of destination.

How do shipments to Canada work?

Similar to the United States of America - All Inclusive - Door to Door -, however orders cannot be sent to New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and Yukon.

Do you ship to Brazil?

Due to the bureaucracy and high costs associated with shipping safely to Brazil, we have chosen not to do so.

Can I track my order?

Yes, you can request a confirmation e-mail with a link to track your order.

Can I change the delivery address of my order after it has been dispatched?

Yes, however, in some destinations this may not be possible and extra charges may apply.

Storage

Do you have all the wines presented in stock?

Yes. All the wines advertised are in stock, except for momentary stock-outs, possible counting errors or bottles that may reveal an anomaly that can be detected when they are dispatched.

What if the items you ordered aren't in stock by mistake?

In the event that the item ordered is not available, or the number of units of the same item is not available, Garrafeira Tourinto will contact you to inform you of this situation, and you can choose to exchange the items (with an adjustment in value) or request the cancellation of the order and the respective refund of the amount paid, which will take place through the platform where you made the payment.

How are the wines stored?

All the wines are stored without exposure to natural or artificial light, with humidity and temperature control, in order to guarantee constant ageing conditions throughout the year.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we only accept payment by Bank Transfer, MB, VISA, MBWAY and PayPal.

What currencies can I use?

We accept payments in Euros only.

Ordering

How should I proceed to place an order?

You should create your account where you can define the data for delivery and billing. Then you should choose the products in the shop and when you want to finalize your purchase select the shopping basket (top right).

In the shopping basket you can see the summary of the products, as well as finalise your purchase and proceed to the payment of the order.

Can I place an order by e-mail or by telephone?

Only if you are unable to place it in the online shop, as orders must be placed in the online shop.

If I have any questions about a product, how should I proceed?

You can send an email to info@tourinto.pt and ask your questions, communicate via WhatsApp or make a phone call, so that we can answer you as clearly as possible.
