Arrepiado Collection Reserva Red
Grape varieties: 65% Touriga Nacional, 30% Petit Verdot, 5% Syrah.
Vinification: Harvested by hand in 25kg boxes, followed by tight sorting on a selection table, very light destemming to crack the berries. Natural and spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. 21-day ‘Cuvaison’.
Aging: 24 months in French oak barrels.
Colour: Concentrated ruby-violet.
Aroma: Intense nose, aromas of black fruits, balsamic and some tobacco.
Flavour:Full-bodied, full-flavoured, with round tannins and good persistence.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Roast red meat or game, lightly caramelised and served with red fruit compote. Goes perfectly with strong cheeses such as Roquefort or Azeitão.
