Schloss Gobelsburg

Schloss Gobelsburg was founded in 1171 and is the oldest winery in Kamptal. Michael Moosbrugger preserves the legacy through sustainable management and minimal intervention.

The ‘Dynamic Cellar Concept’ uses barrels on wheels, moving the wine by gravity. This artisanal method respects the purity and elegance of the Grüner Veltliner and Riesling grape varieties.

Elite vineyards (Erste Lage), such as Heiligenstein, express primary rock and loess soils. The result is deep wines with authentic terroir, awarded by Austrian Wine.
