VINEVINU, founded during the 2024 grape harvest in the Vinho Verde Region’s Ave sub-region, was established with the mission of exploring the versatility of the Alvarinho grape variety, balancing its production between the freshness of the maritime terroir and the complexity of the mountainous terrain.

Winemakers Luís Cerdeira — who has a distinguished track record spanning more than 30 years dedicated to this grape variety — and his son Manuel Cerdeira are at the helm of the family project, combining their vast experience with contemporary approaches in the winery.

By employing the innovative Mixtus Concept and carrying out precision interventions that respect the ecosystem, VINEVINU creates authentic wines such as Almanua, which faithfully express the minerality and salinity of each soil.
