Founded in 1892, the iconic Casa da Passarella is a century-old and pivotal institution in the history of the Dão demarcated region, with lands that have witnessed times of war and peace.

This prestigious estate in the Dão region combines centuries-old tradition with innovation, where each vintage is transformed into unique wines, the result of patience and a deep respect for the vineyard’s magnificent legacy.

Villa Oliveira was the first brand created by Casa de Passarella, but there are several centenary vineyards which remain to this day, responsible for the identity of its wines.

Today, under the guidance of winemaker Paulo Nunes, the brand is reviving old local grape varieties, with the famous ‘O Fugitivo’ and ‘Villa Oliveira’ collections masterfully honouring this valuable historical heritage.
