Rocche Costamagna

Rocche Costamagna is the name of a family with a great tradition in wine production, authorised since 1841 to produce wine from the grapes of their vineyards, located in "La Morra" at an altitude of 350m.

One of the oldest wine producers in the Barolo Denomination of Origin, it is led by Alessandro Locatelli, who develops low-intervention viticulture, based on the valorisation of native vines through knowledge of the plots, the soils and the microclimate.

It was in this way that it was possible to adapt the techniques and operations according to the real needs of the plants, respecting the natural balance that allows for sustainable viticulture, which has led to the production of terroir wines, as well as Barolos of great elegance with classic-style ageing.

The Barolos of Rocche Costamagna reflect the cultural commitment of the La Morra terroir, wines with an incredible feminine charm, elegant, and expressed through deep flavours and aromas rather than power.

Traditionally aged in large Slavonian oak barrels - Botti.
