Rocche Costamagna

Rocche Costamagna is the name of a family with a great tradition in wine production, authorised since 1841 to produce wine from the grapes of their vineyards, located in "La Morra" at an altitude of 350m.

One of the oldest wine producers in the Barolo Designation of Origin is led by Alessandro Locatelli, who practises sustainable viticulture based on organic principles, adapting techniques and operations to the actual needs of the vines, respecting their natural balance and promoting indigenous grape varieties through a thorough understanding of the plots, soils and microclimate.

Rocche Costagna’s Barolos reflect the cultural heritage of the La Morra terroir; these wines possess an incredible feminine charm and elegance, expressed through their deep flavours and aromas rather than through power, and are aged in the traditional manner in large Slavonian oak barrels – Botti.
