Quinta de Sães Reserva White
Grape varieties: Encruzado (50%), Cercial-branco and Bical (50%).
Vinification: Following a few hours of skin contact on the day of harvest, a very slow fermentation takes place. The two-month period of bâtonnage resulted in a significant increase in volume, which complements its acidity and minerality very well.
Aging: 10 months in used oak barrels.
Colour: Lemon yellow.
Aroma: A delicate aroma, harmonising with hints of stone and subtle notes of white fruit.
Flavour: Well-structured, with good body, this is a white wine with character, underpinned by good acidity and a pronounced mineral quality. It offers a delicate finish, with notes of fruit and fresh herbs.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Fish dishes, cod and white meats.
