Quinta dos Carvalhais Encruzado White
Grape varieties: Encruzado.
Aging: 6 months in new French oak barrels on fine lees with bâttonage.
Colour: Bright citrus yellow.
Aroma: An intense wine in terms of aromas, with notes of yellow-fleshed fruit such as peaches and nectarines, as well as floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom. Surprisingly complex, with good integration of the barrel ageing notes.
Flavour: The palate is full of aromatic intensity, with peach flavours and floral notes once again standing out. Firm, well-integrated acidity. Very balanced and persistent finish.
Serve: 10⁰ a 13⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Ideal as a simple aperitif or to accompany more elaborate fish dishes, smoked fish, white meat dishes or poultry.
