Quinta do Covão Rose
Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional.
Vinification: Harvest and manual selection on a belt, followed by pressing of the whole grapes. The first tear-drop must, which has reached a pinkish colour, is sent for cold static decanting in stainless steel. The must is decanted and then transferred to a stainless steel tank where fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. Natural stabilisation.
Aging: In stainless steel with batonnage for 5 months.
Colour: Salmon.
Aroma: The nose reveals young, ripe red fruit, with light floral and fruity touches.
Flavour: The palate is soft, fresh and structured, with good acidity and a fruity, persistent palate.
Serve: 8⁰ to 10⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Cold salads, white meats, fish and seafood.
