Quinta de Macedos Pinga do Torto Tinto
Grape varieties: Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão.
Vinification: Hand-harvested, followed by treading in a wine press and spontaneous fermentation.
Aging: Ageing in American oak barrels for 6 months. Bottled unfiltered.
Colour: Ruby.
Aroma: Ripe red berries, dried herbs, hints of mint and balsamic notes.
Flavour: Light to medium-bodied red fruits, with a peppery note, freshness and balance, a light, refined texture and a complex finish.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: It goes well with red meat dishes, roast meats and game.
