António Madeira White
Grape varieties: Encruzado, Bical, native grape varieties.
Vinification: Vinification without the use of enzymes or oenological products, with very low doses of sulphites. Alcoholic fermentation by indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation. No fining or filtration.
Aging: 12 meses, 30% em barricas (carvalho francês) e 70% em inox. O lote final prolongou o estágio mais 3 meses em inox.
Colour: Lemon yellow.
Aroma: Lots of character, pure fruit with floral notes as well as wet granite.
Flavour: Fresh and tense, as well as elegant and full-bodied, with a salty mouth that begs for another glass. The finish is flavoursome, long and intense, with a hint of wet granite.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Baked fish dishes, codfish and salads.
