Tenuta delle Terre Nere

Tenuta delle Terre Nere is situated on the northern slope of Mount Etna in Sicily, where the volcanic soils, rich in silicon, have helped to preserve many old, pre-phylloxera vines, organised into Contradas (Cru’s) at altitudes of between 600 and 1,000 metres, 20 km from the Ionian Sea.

The estate is renowned for its sustainable viticulture and minimal-intervention winemaking, which respect local biodiversity and the character of each plot, thereby producing wines that vividly express their terroir and diversity.

Combining traditional and modern techniques, Tenuta delle Terre Nere is a leading producer within the Etna DOC, crafting elegant and complex wines characterised by striking minerality and vibrant acidity, shaped by the high-altitude volcanic terroir and the influence of the sea.
