Fitapreta

Adega Fitapreta was born in the Alentejo, when the then young winemaker António Maçanita and viticulturist David Booth decided to embrace the project, which would give rise to the first wine from the recognised winemaker.

The 14th century estate has been transformed into a modern winery, which has undergone an extraordinary process of restoration of the building with archaeological monitoring, allowing the magnificent heritage to be maintained.

Fitapreta wines express the identity of the region, coming from various vineyards, without ever forgetting the recovery of the native grape varieties found in the old vineyards over 50 years old - Chão de Eremitas - which produce rare monovarietal wines.
