VINEVINU Genese Cima
Grape varieties: Alvarinho.
Vinification: Grapes harvested from selected high-altitude vineyards. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Aging: Partially aged in cement vats, with a portion aged in oak barrels.
Colour: A deep, clear and brilliant lemon-yellow colour.
Aroma: Austere, restrained and complex, moving away from overt fruitiness. The elegant, delicate notes of subtle vanilla from the perfectly integrated oak stand out, accompanied by hints of orange peel and orange leaf, smoky notes and a slight hint of hazelnut.
Flavour: Full-bodied, deep, with excellent volume and substance. The vibrant acidity blends perfectly with a creamy, harmonious texture, leading to a long, taut, sophisticated and highly food-friendly finish.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Cod with cornbread, oven-baked oily fish or mature cheeses.
