Quinta do Vale Meão Vintage Port 2001
Grape varieties: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Sousão.
Aging: It is bottled 22 months after the harvest.
Colour: Dark purple.
Aroma: Dominated by blackberry jam and floral notes.
Flavour: On the palate the black fruit gives way to firm tannins and herbal notes. Very persistent finish
Serve: 12⁰ to 14⁰ (Decanting)
Consumption: Immediate
Harmonisation: It goes very well with berry, chocolate or dried fruit-based desserts, traditional Portuguese sweets and cheeses.
