Vajra Barolo DOCG Ravera
Grape varieties: Nebbiolo.
Vinification: Hand-harvested, vinified in bespoke vertical vats, fermented with indigenous yeasts, macerated for 55 days with the cap partially submerged, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Aging: 26 months in 25- and 50-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
Colour: Bright garnet red.
Aroma: On the nose, it offers aromas of red fruits, white pepper, blackberry tart, red fruit sweets, cedar and salty notes.
Flavour: Wild berries, blackcurrant, crushed stone and a mineral note fill the mid-palate of this succulent and very generous Barolo.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Storage.
Harmonisation: Red meat, game and well-matured cheeses.
