Vajra Barolo DOCG Ravera
Grape varieties: Nebbiolo.
Vinification: Hand-harvested, vinified in bespoke vertical vats, fermented with indigenous yeasts, macerated for 28 days with the cap partially submerged, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Aging: 28 months in 25- and 50-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
Colour: Intense red.
Aroma: The nose is expressive, with aromas of raspberries, mint and orange zest.
Flavour: Red berries, floral notes and crushed stone characterise the mid-palate, alongside the wine’s characteristic salinity and very well-defined tannins.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Storage.
Harmonisation: Red meat, game and well-matured cheeses.
