SOU Red Vinha da Ramada
Grape varieties: Alvarelhão, Pedral, Borraçal, Cainho, Alvarinho and Vinhão.
Vinification: Fermentation with 40% whole bunches and stems, in vats. Malolactic fermentation in used French oak barrels.
Aging: 11 months in the same barrels.
Colour: Open average.
Aroma: A deep, elegant nose with notes of red fruits, pepper, cinnamon and aromatic herbs.
Flavour: A fresh, textured palate with good structure from very smooth tannins, vibrant acidity and a long finish with notes of fruit and spice.
Serve: 15⁰ a 16⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Dishes featuring oily fish, red meat, Minho cuisine, game and cheeses.
