Royal Palmeira Loureiro White
Grape varieties: Loureiro.
Vinification: Pre-fermentation maceration, gentle pressing, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks. The final stage of fermentation takes place in French oak barrels over 10 years old, with bâtonnage carried out over a period of 6 months, and malolactic fermentation occurring in some of the barrels. Filtered and clarified after 12 months.
Aging: 12 months in used French oak barrels.
Colour: Lemon yellow.
Aroma: A pronounced aroma of orange blossom, mandarin, citrus fruits and peach skin.
Flavour: Medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity and a clean minerality that enhances the freshness of this wine. A very long, silky finish.
Serve: 7⁰ to 9⁰
Consumption: Immediate (up to 10 years).
Harmonisation: Great with Mediterranean dishes.
