Paço da Palmeira
Quinta do Paço was built in the 18th century by the Archbishop of Braga. Located at the confluence of the Cávado and Homem rivers between Braga and Vila Verde, it is one of the most beautiful architectural monuments in Minho, combining Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical styles.
Acquired in 2010 by businessman Carlos Dias, it underwent a profound change in its dynamics with the intervention of French winemaker and wine consultant Pascal Chatonnet.
The 28 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the Loureiro grape variety are expressed in Eminência and Royal Palmeira, two of the most emblematic grape varieties of the Vinho Verde Region.
