Rocche Costamagna Barbera d´Alba Superiore
Grape varieties: Barbera 100%.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel with temperature control at 27 °C, racking after 10 days and fermentation.
Aging: 10 months in French oak barrels.
Colour: Purple.
Aroma: Rich and deep on the nose, with delicate spicy aromas well integrated with surprising sensations of small, ripe red berries.
Flavour: The perception of this wine is full and silky, with sweet tannins, a well-structured body and good longevity. The finish is long and persistent, characterised by notes of chocolate and vanilla.
Serve: 16º to 17⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage (5 to 12 years).
Harmonisation: Goes well with risottos, grilled meat and fish.
