Quinta do Mouro Vinha do Malhó Red
Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification: Destemming, foot treading in the wine press for three days with cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation in stainless steel vats, long post-fermentation maceration, pressing in vertical wooden baskets.
Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels, 3 years in the bottle.
Colour: Intense Ruby.
Aroma: Complex, with black and blue fruit, earthy and spicy notes, very powerful and concentrated.
Flavour: It maintains this profile but is balanced by a marked and unexpected acidity, with a structured, precise and fresh finish.
Serve: 15 a 17⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
