Pegos Claros Blanc de Noirs 2023
Grape varieties: Castelão, Old Vines.
Vinification: Manual harvesting and transport in 20kg crates. Direct pressing with whole bunches, using only the must from the first pressings. Partial fermentation in new French oak barrels (35%) and the rest in stainless steel vats.
Aging: Aged on its lees for 6 months. Part was aged (35%) in new French oak barrels.
Colour: Pale yellow-green.
Aroma: Elegant combination of some green fruit (apple and pear) with slight mineral notes.
Flavour: Surprisingly structured, with present acidity and a persistent finish.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Excellent as an accompaniment to salads, seafood and various fish dishes.
