Mira do Ó Teima White
Grape varieties: Old Vines (Bical, Roupeiro, Tamarez, Arinto and Fernão Pires).
Vinification: Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, 20% in used French oak barrels and 80% in stainless steel.
Aging: 11 months on the lees.
Colour: Citrus yellow.
Aroma: The nose offers a superb balance between freshness and granite-like minerality. It reveals notes of green apple, pear, citrus and white flowers, with very elegant hints of honeycomb and a subtle spicy undertone.
Flavour: It stands out as an enveloping and very taut white wine. It has a vigorous, mouth-watering acidity that balances the rich texture achieved through ageing on the lees.
Serve: 10-12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Baked fish, cod and white meat.
