Milagres Alvarinho by Quinta da Pedra Magnum
Grape varieties: Alvarinho.
Vinification: Pre-fermentation maceration, gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel, completed in used French oak barrels (+10 years). Bâtonnage in the first 6 months and malolactic fermentation may occur in some barrels. After 12 months, the wine is clarified, filtered and bottled.
Aging: 12 months in used French oak barrels, 2-3 years in the bottle.
Colour: Citrine.
Aroma: Citrus and mineral, with soft notes of apple and pineapple, but very elegant on the nose.
Flavour: Unctuousness with acidity giving it freshness and longevity.
Serve: 13⁰ a 14⁰
Consumption: Immediate (up to 10 years).
Harmonisation: Roasted fish and meat, goat and matured meats.
