Maquete morMONTE Red
Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet.
Vinification: Total destemming for 1 old vats, followed by spontaneous fermentation and contact with the skins for 15 days with slight submersion of the cap. Vat ‘opened’ in March, separating the liquid from the skins, to a stainless steel tank. Not subject to stabilisation.
Aging: Carving.
Colour: Garnet red colour.
Aroma: Open, fruity and tomato aroma. Soft vegetal nuances.
Flavour: Consistent entry on the palate and a persistent finish, with a hint of clay. Fresh, with enveloping and balanced acidity.
Serve: 12⁰ to 14⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Gastronomic, it accompanies various meat dishes, game and oven-baked dishes.
