Grape varieties: Several typical Douro grape varieties.
Aging: 630 litre oak casks with an average age of 10 years.
Colour: Reddish brown.
Aroma: Fragrant bouquet of ripe fruit with woody nuances.
Flavour: Smooth, silky texture and subtle wood nuances are balanced by fresh acidity and tannic "grip", culminating in a long, elegant finish with fruity notes reminiscent of plums.
Serve: 12⁰ to 16⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Dessert wine that harmonizes especially with almonds, berries or dark chocolate. It may also accompany intense blue-veined cheeses. It is excellent at the end of meals with nuts or toasted almonds.
