Domaine François Gaunoux Les Grands Epenots Pommard 1er Cru
Grape varieties: Pinot Noir.
Vinification: Hand-picked, completely destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Traditional cuvaison, followed by ageing in oak barrels.
Aging: 16–18 months.
Colour: Ruby.
Aroma: Deep and rich, with a subtle earthy touch, followed by rich aromas of black cherries and a hint of pepper.
Flavour: Soft, velvety tannins, a very long and persistent finish, and excellent ageing potential, allowing it to evolve and gain complexity over many years.
Serve: 15⁰ a 17⁰
Consumption: Storage.
Harmonisation: Red and white meat dishes, game, mushrooms and classic French cuisine.
