Carlos Raposo Tinta Pinheira
Grape varieties: Tinta Pinheira.
Vinification: Selection and gravity transfer to the cement vat, where alcoholic fermentation took place. Malolactic fermentation in barrels, where it occurred naturally without the addition of chemicals or yeasts.
Aging: Puligny Montrachet’ French oak barrels for 15 months.
Colour: Open ruby with violet nuances.
Aroma: Delicate yet complex, with notes of forest fruits and a slight floral touch, as well as spices and a slight earthy touch.
Flavour: Good structure, balanced acidity, elegance and precision. Fruity and fresh, with soft, well-integrated tannins, persistent and slightly balsamic.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Game dishes, such as partridge or wild boar, cod and cheeses: Camembert and Brie. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
