Argiano Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2019
Grape varieties: Sangiovese.
Vinification: Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 4 days, fermentation in stainless steel and natural cement for 3 weeks, malolactic fermentation in concrete.
Aging: 30 months in Slovenian and French oak barrels, and 30 months in the bottle.
Colour: Ruby open.
Aroma: Fresh, complex and fruity nose, as well as balsamic and with final notes of meat.
Flavour: Elegant and vertical with strong but silky tannins, as well as a distinctive savoriness and very gastronomic.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage (20 years).
Harmonisation: Veal carpaccio, Fiorentina steak, and well-seasoned Parmesan cheeses.
