Wine & Soul was born in 2001, with the determination of Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges to search tirelessly for exceptional vineyards in the Pinhão Valley, the historic heart of great Port wines.

The old vines of native grape varieties in the Douro region are characterised by low yields and limited production, which convey the character of each vineyard. Pintas, the first vineyard, joined Guru, Altar and Quinta da Manoella with a common goal: to create excellent wines with a total commitment to the environment.
