Maçanita Douro

Maçanita Douro Irmãos e Enólogos is a winery located on the right bank of the Douro River, 20 km from Pinhão, where a hands-off approach to winemaking is practised, seeking to bring the region's terroir to the bottle.

The project that unites the siblings Joana and António Maçanita is actually a boutique winery that follows a non-interventive and minimalist language, with several single varietal wines but also some wines from old vines, where the various traditional grape varieties of the region are typically mixed.

 

Each of these sub-regions has its own unique characteristics.
