Mira do Ó crafts wines that tell the stories of the land, combining minimal intervention in the winery with the preservation of the pure essence of old vines in distinctive regions.

From the Dão to the Bairrada, from the Serra de São Mamede in the Alentejo to Bucellas, the winemaker defies time, where immense elegance and truly extraordinary ageing potential reflect a deep passion for Portugal’s wine heritage, highlighting the genuine identity of the terroir.

The old vineyards of the Dão and Alentejo regions, ranging in age from 40 to 120 years and situated at altitudes of between 450m and 700m, allow for slow ripening and the preservation of the grapes’ natural acidity, resulting in wines with a strong sense of identity. In Bairrada and Bucelas, the proximity to the Atlantic contrasts with the lower altitude, ensuring the preservation of freshness alongside the strong oceanic influence.
