Vinification: Traditionally used by large rafters.
Aging: Shades of brown and mahogany.
Colour: Brownish in color due to its long evolutionary history.
Aroma: Highly complex aromas, with a predominance of dried cherry.
Flavour: The wine has a light structure, with pronounced yet refined tannins, as well as a surprising freshness. The finish is persistent, with iodine notes revealing the Atlantic influence.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate (Decant carefully).
Harmonisation: Excellent with rich game dishes and full-bodied, well-seasoned red meats.
