Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé is a cuvée, always vintage, only made when the year is exceptional and all the required quality criteria are respected. The nose is both indulgent and fresh, evoking aromas of raspberry, black cherry, as well as peaches and pears. The bubble is fine and delicate, the chalky acidity superb, as well as an exquisite freshness with a delicate salinity.

    Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé

Grape varieties: 30% of Chardonnay Grands Crus  Côte des Blancs and 70% of Pinot Noir  Grands Crus Montagne of Reims.
Aging: 12 years of ageing in the heart of the chalk cellars of Saint-Nicaise.
    Colour: Bright salmon pink.
Aroma: The nose is both indulgent and fresh, evoking aromas of raspberries, black cherries, as well as lightly cooked peaches and pears, all further heightened by subtle menthol flavours.
Flavour: The bubble is fine and delicate, the incredibly fine and precise attack gives way to the perception of a chiselled tannic structure, which reveals all the power of the limestone terroirs of the Grand Crus. With superb chalky acidity as well as exquisite freshness, the palate spreads out in beautiful aromatic purity to leave a delicate salinity.

    Serve: 11⁰
    Consumption: Immediate or storage.

Harmonisation: The champagne par excellence for accompanying gourmet cuisine. It's the perfect match for white meats, but also reveals its full potential when served with lobster.
