Rocche Costamagna Barolo DOCG Rocche dell’Annunziata Riserva
Grape varieties: Nebbiolo 100%.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control (27 °C) for 3 weeks, followed by racking, post-fermentation maceration and malolactic fermentation completed in autumn.
Aging: 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. Botti.
Colour: Intense garnet red.
Aroma: Intense, complex and distinctive, with notes of dried roses, violets, pomegranate, apricot, dates and candied orange peel, as well as balsamic notes, liquorice, with hints of tobacco and leather.
Flavour: Fresh and savoury, full-bodied and persistent, with elegant notes of jam and spices, as well as very elegant tannins.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage (15 to 25 years).
Harmonisation: Capriolo ai mirtilli con alloro e rosmarino arrosto, beef Bourgignon, slow cooked shredded pork, rib roast.
