Ratti Barolo DOCG Rocche dell’Annunziata
Grape varieties: Nebbiolo 100%.
Vinification: Destemming and pressing, maceration (3 to 4 weeks) and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by successive post-fermentation macerations using the traditional submerged lid system, and malolactic conversion.
Aging: 2 years in French oak barrels of 25hl, with an additional year in the bottle.
Colour: Grenada.
Aroma: Delicate and persistent fragrance with hints of liquorice, rose and violet.
Flavour: Full, warm flavour, with extremely elegant tannins and long persistence.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage (25years).
Harmonisation: Spit-roasted or grilled red meats, game, gourmet red and white meat dishes and mature cheeses.
