Quinta do Paral Reserve Red
Grape varieties: Alicante Bouschet (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Malbec (10%) and Marselan (10%).
Vinification: Manual selection of whole bunches, destemming and fermentation in a press with mechanical treading at a controlled temperature of 24-28º for 12 days.
Aging: Aged for 24 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels.
Colour: Ruby.
Aroma: It reveals extreme aromatic elegance, intense but fine, ripe black fruit enveloped in spicy notes and light barrel smokiness.
Flavour: The flavour is full, with firm tannins, lots of grip and character on the long, defined finish. Long life ahead.
Serve: 16⁰ a 18⁰.
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Ideal with traditional Alentejo dishes.
