    Quinta do Mouro Petit Syrah

    Grape varieties: Petit Syrah.
    Vinification: Total destemming, foot treading in the wine press for three days with cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by long post-fermentation maceration and pressing in wooden baskets.
    Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels, 3 years in the bottle.
    Colour: Intense Ruby. 
    Aroma: Blue fruits, black plum, some spices such as black pepper and nutmeg, notes of black tea and some floral notes.
    Flavour: Quite full-bodied, dry, with excellent tannin structure, well-integrated wood, intense and prolonged minerality and freshness, high acidity persists.


    Serve: 15 a 17⁰
    Consumption: Immediate or storage.

    Harmonisation: Meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
