Quinta do Covão Encruzado Branco Unoaked
Grape varieties: Encruzado.
Vinification: Harvest and manual selection on a mat, followed by pressing of the whole grapes. The must is decanted and then transferred to a stainless steel tank where fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. Natural stabilisation.
Aging: In stainless steel with batonnage for 5 months.
Colour: Yellow.
Aroma: The nose shows white fruit, floral and mineral notes.
Flavour: The palate shows good natural acidity, balanced with structure and some volume. The finish is persistent and very mineral, reminiscent of savoury notes.
Serve: 8⁰ to 10⁰
Consumption: Immediate.
Harmonisation: Cold salads, white meats, fish and seafood.
