Quinta de San Michel Arinto
Grape varieties: Arinto.
Vinification: Destemming and crushing, followed by direct pressing. Settling (36 hours). Fermentation in used barrels.
Aging: 8 months in used French oak barrels and 24 months in bottle.
Colour: Slightly golden colour.
Aroma: Subtle, with aromas of apple, lemon, melon, mint and a hint of toast.
Flavour: Tense and energetic, with a vibrant acidity that blends seamlessly with its full-bodied palate. It finishes with a minerality typical of the grape variety, as well as a salty, lingering aftertaste.
Serve: 10 to 12⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Octopus rice, roast lamb and rabbit à la chasseur.
