Quinta das Bágeiras Avô Fausto Red
Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional and Baga.
Aging: Fermentation and ageing in used French oak barrels, then transferred to a small wooden vat where it remained until bottling, without any fining or filtering.
Colour: Open.
Aroma: Delicate and complex aroma, combining dried vegetables, pine needles, damp earth, forest fruits and chilli peppers.
Flavour: Medium body, very balanced tannins and acidity, freshness and elegance, persistent and full of flavour.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Grilled meat, game and cheese dishes.
