    Quinta da Prelada Porto Tawny 20 Years

    Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz.
    Vinification: After harvesting the grapes at their ideal point of ripeness, they are destemmed and crushed. The must is then fermented and aged in oak barrels, acquiring complexity, dried fruit flavours and remarkable smoothness.
    Aging: In 600-litre chestnut barrels.
    Colour: Deep amber with golden highlights.
    Aroma: The aroma has a striking intensity of dried fruits, such as figs and almonds, accompanied by notes of caramel, vanilla and subtle nuances of oak.
    Flavour: On the palate, it reveals itself to be a rich and complex wine, with a velvety texture and predominant flavours of figs, almonds and walnuts. The sweetness is balanced and enveloping, with subtle hints of spices such as cinnamon and cloves.


    Serve: 16-18⁰
    Consumption: Immediate.


    Harmonisation: More mature cheeses, such as Roquefort, and also with desserts based on dried fruit or caramel.
