Pégaso Blend Edition Tinto
Grape varieties: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification: Cold pre- and post-fermentation maceration, fermenting at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, it was transferred to new French oak barrels.
Aging: 14 months in used French oak barrels.
Colour: Intense garnet.
Aroma: A closed nose that needs airing out to reveal notes of ripe red fruit, lots of freshness on the whole, as well as toasted notes from the barrels, balsamic and some spicy notes.
Flavour: A full and enveloping wine, but at the same time elegant, which is still very austere.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Storage.
Harmonisation: Oven-roasted meat, black pork feathers, lamb stew.
