Produced for the first time in 1996, the best wine from Mouchão is placed in barrels 3 and 4, which produces an extraordinary wine with notes of eucalyptus, mint, spice and black fruit.

    Description

    Mouchão Tonel 3-4

    Grape varieties: Alicante Bouschet.
    Aging: For at least three years, in old casks No. 3 and 4 of chestnut and oak staves, with macacaúba and mahogany bottoms.
    Colour: Deep garnet.
    Aroma: Concentrated notes of eucalyptus, mint, spices and black fruits.
    Flavour: Initial softness, followed by intense freshness, extraordinary balance and elegance and a high concentration of tannins.

    Serve: 16 to 18⁰
    Consumption: 15 to 20 years after harvest.

    Harmonisation: Intense and structured dishes, matured cheeses.
