Menin Touriga Franca Tinto
Grape varieties: Touriga Franca.
Vinification: Destemming and crushing, sent by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. Pre-fermentation maceration was carried out at low temperatures, followed by alcoholic fermentation between 25-27°C.
Aging: The grapes were destemmed and crushed, then moved by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. Pre-fermentation maceration was carried out at low temperatures, followed by alcoholic fermentation at 25-27 C. 18 months in 225 litre oak barrels.
Colour: Ruby.
Aroma: Intense black and red fruits, such as blackberries, blackcurrants, black plums and blueberries, as well as forest fruits, always balanced by the floral sensations of rose petals.
Flavour: Intense black and red fruits, such as blackberries, blackcurrants and black plums, as well as wild berries and some blue fruit reminiscent of blueberries, but always balanced by the floral sensations of rose petals. On the palate, it shows the essence of the grape variety through its very structuring, silky and persistent tannins.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: Red meat, roast beef and game.
