Menin Reserva Red is born from a rigorous selection of different plots between 45 and 100 years old. It presents notes of wild red fruits, in harmony with spicy nuances, as well as a solid structure, with lively but polished tannins, great freshness and balance.

    Menin Reserve Red

    Grape varieties: 35 % Touriga Nacional, 35 % Touriga Franca, 10 % Tinta Barroca, 10 % Tinta Amarela, 10 % Vinha Velha (blend of grape varieties).
    Vinification: Destemming and crushing. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures in stainless steel, alcoholic fermentation between 25-27 C. Once alcoholic and malolactic fermentation were complete, the wine was transferred to 225L oak barrels.
    Aging: 85 % French oak and 15 % American oak for 14 months.
    Colour: Ruby.
    Aroma: Fresh wild red fruit, blackberries and plums, in perfect harmony with spicy nuances.
    Flavour: Solid structure, with lively but polished tannins and great freshness and balance.


    Serve: 16 to 18⁰
    Consumption: Immediate or storage.


    Harmonisation: Red meat, roast beef and game.
