Maçanita Reserva Red
Grape varieties: 40% Sousão, 40% Touriga Nacional, 20% blend of traditional Douro grape varieties.
Vinification: Cold pre-maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation, with cuvaison for 26 days.
Aging: Aged 10% in new French oak barrels, 55% neutral and 35% in stainless steel vats for 14 months.
Colour: Dark violet.
Aroma: Red fruit concentrate.
Flavour: Red fruit and round tannins, followed by an intense and persistent finish.
Serve: 16 to 18⁰
Consumption: Immediate or storage.
Harmonisation: It goes well with white and red meat dishes, both in traditional and modern cuisine.
